In 2023, after years of successful professional life in Istanbul, Eda and Osman Öztürk decided to take a risk and move to Germany to start a new adventure. Shortly after their arrival, new neighbours arrived: Thomas Burk was coming back to his birth country with his French partner Solène Japiot. It was the start of a deep friendship between the two families, originally bounding over their children activities and sharing family meals.

They quickly realised they had even more in common than their values: both Eda and Solène had been assisting doctors and dentists for years, and were painfully aware of the challenges one could face to access medical care in Western European countries.

It was a perfect match of skills and vision:

Eda could reach out to the doctors and teams she knew so well back in Turkey, and secure partnerships with JCI certified hospitals; her medical experience made her the perfect interface between Doctors and customers.

Solène combined her past medical and tourism experiences to design trips and provide high-quality customer service.

Thomas used his expert software development abilities to create a platform implementing the latest encryption standards, to ensure confidentiality and safety of personal data and transactions.

Osman, more than familiar with cross border commerce due to his industrial career, put his creative and communication skills to work so the EdaCare experience could finally come to life.
